The clinic is FREE but Pre-Registration online is required
Bring your girls lacrosse stick if you have one. Some sticks will be avaiable to use.

Indoor Plant Workshop with Shauna Moore
Sunday January 29th, 2023

Limited enrollment. Ages 16+ welcome.
In this two hour session, participants will learn about a variety of different houseplants and discover what these plants need to grow successfully. The basics of plant selection, care and maintenance will be discussed. The horticulture instructor will demonstrate repotting, watering, and fertilizing as well as propagation of some of the most popular houseplants.
Participants will be leaving with a variety of small plants.
Shauna Moore works as the Manager of Horticulture for the Somerset County Park Commission and Colonial Park Gardens where she curates the internationally acclaimed Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden and oversees the Leonard J. Buck Garden in Far Hills, NJ. Shauna also teaches a variety of Horticulture and Floral Design classes and workshops with the New York Botanical Garden. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota in Horticulture Science and Landscape Architecture. She currently resides in Lambertville, NJ with her two dogs and a guy named James.

Come out and try our NEW ZUMBA CLASS!
Holiday Hangout is a trial class on December 18th at Readington Middle School Front Gym
Come join us for some holiday fun in a festive Zumba class led by instructor, Heather Spencer. This class will be infused with both Zumba Latin Rhythms as well as holiday songs while you groove to easy to follow cardio dance moves. This class is perfect for any fitness level, beginner and up! We are also welcoming ages 11 and up for this invigorating class, so the more the merrier!!!
Time: 10:30-11:30 am
Fee: $5 per person
Young adults middle school age+ are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian. Each participant must be registered individually.
Instructor is Heather Spencer
NEW Zumba class sessions will begin on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm at Whitehouse School cafeteria on January 12th.

Zumba Toning combines body sculpting exercises and dance cardio movements to create a calorie torching, full body workout. The use of light weights gives this class the added element of toning the upper body while also concentrating on the lower body as well as the abdominal muscles. This class is perfect for any fitness level, beginner and up! Instructor, Heather Spencer offers an engaging and fun class experience with easy to follow choreography to all your favorite Latin music.

The curriculum of this class is devised to offer students a structured environment in which to create. Basic and advanced instruction is offered as students work from a variety of studio assignments which can include landscape painting from the scenic Dobozynski Farm location and independent projects of their own design. Each student will be encouraged to explore academic as well as more expressionistic and abstract options via group and individual critiques. Open to drawing, pastel, oil, and acrylic painters.

All participants must be able to follow a Lego instruction manual.

Based on registration, participants will be divided by age groups.
Team up to build exclusive creations that will test your engineering abilities. Build carnival rides, drawing machines, mechanical animals and more!
Participants will build an in-class project and then will receive a small build project to take home each week. The in-class project does not come home.
