Rec Soccer Grades 1/2 Spring 2023 Copy

This is for children who are currently in 1st and 2nd Grades

This is a coed program.

Each week is professional training followed by a game.

If we have players registered and coaches who volunteer, we will form set teams.  If we do not, then teams will form each week for scrimmage games.

There is a “World Cup” program on the last day.

Girls Softball Grades 3-4-5 Spring 2023 Copy

This is a registration link to form a Readington team to play in the Branchburg softball league.

Open to girls in grades 3,4,5 (Branchburg “Majors” league)

Cost: $175 includes uniform, ump fees, team equipment and option to attend some indoor winter clinics.

Season runs April 1 – Early June

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

First two weeks practice only and then games begin.  Games are on Saturdays and/or also on weeknights.

If we have a Readington team all practices and some games will be in town at Hillcrest and/or Pickell Parks.  Other games will be in Branchburg.

We need a minimum of 10 players and two coaches to make this team happen.

The maximum is 14 players so register early! After we reach the max for this team you will be able to register directly with Branchburg to be placed on a team.

Art Adventures Plus Ages 9-14 Late Spring 2023

Art Adventures Plus Class with Instructor Tony Robinson

Ages 9-14

Saturdays May 6th – June 10th (no class May 27th)

Time: 10:15-11:30 am

Location: Dobozynski Cottage

Cost: $125 includes materials

Students will learn or  improve their skills in this fun class session focusing on the basic principles of the art of drawing and painting.

Work on fun and informative projects designed to sharpen artistic skills in the areas of drawing, color theory, and composition. 

This class includes learning to draw your favorite cartoon characters from sketch to finished art.  Students can also develop their own characters.

Cost: $134

Join professional illustrator and art teacher Lena Shiffman for a fun and relaxed art class.  Work from still life set ups by the teacher or use your own photographs.  If the weather permits you can set up outside and paint “plein air”. Work with your favorite medium or pick a new one to learn such as charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic or watercolor.  If you are new to art, drawing is always a great place to begin.  You can work on one painting all semester or start a new one every week – the choice is yours.  All abilities welcome!

Intermediate/Advanced Painting Class

Instructor is Charles Viera

Limited to 8 participants

The curriculum of this class is devised to offer students with some previous experience a structured environment in which to create. Students work from a variety of studio assignments which can include independent projects of their own design and landscape painting from the scenic farm location.  Each student will be encouraged to explore academic as well as more expressionistic and abstract options via group and individual critiques.

Open to pastel, oil, watercolor and acrylic painters with some experience.

League rus April to August at Pickell Park.

Price of $675 per team until MARCH 30th at 9 am.  After that the  fee will be $775.
