The curriculum of this class is devised to offer students with some previous experience a structured environment in which to create. Students work from a variety of studio assignments which can include independent projects of their own design and landscape painting from the scenic farm location. Each student will be encouraged to explore academic as well as more expressionistic and abstract options via group and individual critiques.
Open to pastel, oil, watercolor and acrylic painters with some experience.

Join professional illustrator and art teacher Lena Shiffman for a fun and relaxed art class. Work from still life set ups by the teacher or use your own photographs. If the weather permits you can set up outside and paint “plein air”. Work with your favorite medium or pick a new one to learn such as charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic or watercolor. If you are new to art, drawing is always a great place to begin. You can work on one painting all semester or start a new one every week – the choice is yours. All abilities welcome!

This class will combine advanced beginner/intermediate level players.
There will be 16 spots and 2 coaches.
At the first class the coaches will evaluate players and make groups according to ability.

This Tennis class introduces beginners and those with some experience to the fundamentals of tennis. Our professional tennis coaches will ensure that players are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment.
Players will learn tennis fundamental techniques in stroke technique, serving, court awareness, and rallying, as well as tactics and game rules. This all takes place through a series of fun tennis challenges, structured activities, and match play.

The Development Tennis class is ideal for the intermediate to advanced player looking to enhance their tennis skills and decision-making abilities in game-situations. Our professional, qualified tennis coaches will ensure players are challenged. Before attending this class players should be able to perform a consistent 4-ball rally and demonstrate the basic techniques of forehand, backhand, volley, and serve.
Classes will focus on refinement of key tennis skills including stroke improvement, directional play, rallying, point-scoring, and matchplay. Each session begins with a warm-up followed by several skill-building drills and finishes with a match.

Tennis Squirts is the perfect class for introducing a child to tennis. Our professional coaches ensure that children are engaged in fun, inclusive activities, in a positive learning environment.
Throughout the class, children will focus on different aspects of the game, including boundaries, balance, hand-eye coordination, racquet skills, and grip. In addition to this players will develop basic tennis techniques in forehand, self/partner rallying, volleying, and more. Players will be taught through a series of fun challenges, structured activities and scrimmages adapted to ensure everyone achieves success.
