This class is for Levels 2.5-3.5+

Please note that this program will have a starting level of 2.5. If you play at a level higher than 3.5 you are welcome to participate but with the understanding that the bulk of players will be between 2.5-3.5.

Our Advanced Pickleball Programs are tailored for experienced players looking to refine their skills, master advanced techniques, and compete at a higher level. Classes focus on precision shot placement, spin techniques, and strategic point construction. Participants will engage in fast-paced drills, competitive match play, and game analysis to develop strategies that outmaneuver opponents. Ideal for those preparing for tournaments or advanced leagues, these sessions will challenge players to elevate their performance.

This class is aimed at players Levels 3.5-5.0

The Development Pickleball class is ideal for the intermediate player looking to enhance their pickleball skills and decision-making abilities in game-situations. Our professional, qualified pickleball coaches will always be on hand throughout the class to give coaching and support.

Classes will focus on refinement of key pickleball skills including stroke improvement, directional play, rallying, point-scoring, and match play. This all takes place through a series of fun challenges, structured activities, and each session finishes with 30 minutes of match play, where strategy and in-game tactics will be the focus.

Pickleball Classes at Summer Road Park

Beginner Classes for Adults (18+)

Mondays 7/7-8/11

5:30-6:20 pm

Players will learn pickleball fundamental techniques in ground-strokes, serving, and volleying, as well as scoring, tactics, and game rules. This all takes place through a series of fun pickleball challenges, structured activities, and each session finishes with 30 minutes of match play.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is played on a badminton-sized court with a perforated plastic ball, similar to a wiffle ball, and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Class will be divided between instruction and play.

Players bring their own rackets – all other equipment is provided by US Sports Institute.
