Players will learn pickleball fundamental techniques in ground-strokes, serving, and volleying, as well as scoring, tactics, and game rules. This all takes place through a series of fun pickleball challenges, structured activities, and each session finishes with 30 minutes of match play.
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is played on a badminton-sized court with a perforated plastic ball, similar to a wiffle ball, and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
Class will be divided between instruction and play.
Players bring their own rackets – all other equipment is provided by US Sports Institute.

The US Sports Institute’s flagship summer multi sports camp gives players aged 5-11 the opportunity to experience up to 3 different sports each day, and over 12 sports in one week. Every camp is coached by our professional staff who are trained to encourage maximum participation, good sportsmanship, and above all- FUN!

Step into the shoes of a detective – uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Re-create the scene of a crime using schematics. Use science to connect the dots and sniff out the suspects in this hands-on investigation into the science of sleuthing.

Learn about lions, elephants, sharks and more and find out how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. Using Crayola products to create animal inspired art projects from frog paintings to polar bear sculptures. Let your creativity run wild and bring your handiwork home to build a menagerie of animal themed masterpieces.

Theater Camp sells out very quickly – don’t miss out!
Have you ever wanted to star in a play you helped create? Join us this summer as students learn all about theater by doing it themselves. Campers are guided by the instructor through a process of playing theater games, creating a story and working together to make that story into a working theatrical production. The participants create their own character, plot, props, costumes, title and everything else needed for the production. The final day is a performance of their original play for parents, family, friends and guests.
