Professional coaches will teach the basic techniques of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense through a series of inclusive group activities. Each week the participants will play a small sided scrimmage.

Players will learn fundamental skills in running, jumping and throwing, and will be encouraged to develop their key motor skills, including balance, muscle control, and kinetic development. This all takes place through a series of track & field challenges and events, including sprinting, distance running, relays, long jump, javelin, and more!

Readington Red Hawks Travel Lacrosse – 7th/8th Grade Team
This is the registration link for the 7th and 8th grade team for Spring 2024.
Practices begin March 4th at Branchburg Sports Arena.
Outdoor season begins week of April 7th. Practices are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Hillcrest Park. Home games are at Hillcrest and away games are in the central New Jersey area. Games may be scheduled on other days of the week.
Season ends early June.

Cost: $280 includes indoor practices.
Cost does not include uniforms which are ordered directly through Darrow’s Sporting Edge in Whitehouse Station.
2023 uniform prices: top is $54, skirt is $38. Required pinnie is $24. If your 2023 uniform fits you do not need to buy another one.
Players must provide their own lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats and mouth guard.

This is for children who are currently in PreK (going to K in Sept 2024) and currently in Kindergarten.
This is a coed program.
Each week is professional training followed by a game.
If we have players registered and coaches who volunteer, we will form set teams. If we do not, then teams will form each week for scrimmage games.
There is a “World Cup” program on the last day.

We need a minimum of 10 players and two coaches to make this team happen.
If we don’t get enough players for a Readington team your registration will be transferred to Branchburg and you will be placed on a team.
The maximum is 15 players so register early! After we reach the max for this team you will be able to register directly with Branchburg to be placed on a team.
If your daughter and a friend want to play together on this team, register early!
