This link is to register to PROVIDE CANDY AND HAND IT OUT from your car trunk at the Readington Halloween Event on Saturday October 25th
The event is at Pickell Park from 1:30-4:30 pm
You should be prepared to provide candy for up to 250 children
Each car participating receives a $25 gift certificate to Readington Recreation

Each child participating must be registered individually

NEW Soccer program to add onto your Readington Rec Soccer registration for Fall 2025
Open to Boys born 2017-2020
One practice per week on Wednesdays 9/17-10/29 at Hillcrest Park from 6:00-7:00 pm
The team will play in two Soccer Festivals on Saturdays in the Fall. Dates TBA soon
Soccer Festival games are approx 60-90 minutes on two Saturday afternoons in our local area. Team will play 3 short matches against other area teams.
Festival games are low key and fun: no refs, no offsides, no punting, no heading, no penalty kicks, no scorekeeping
The Festival program provides the perfect balance of professional coaching, skill growth, and game-day excitement without the pressure of league standings
Program includes:
- Professional training by USA Soccer Academy
- One hour per week of training
- Two afternoon Festivals
- Team shirt

Fall Foliage Painting: Hunterdon County

Fall in Hunterdon County is one of the most beautiful times of year. Artists, tourists and locals have long enjoyed the brilliant Fall foliage at the farms, rivers and rolling hills of Hunterdon County during this time of year. The season’s rich warm colors offer a different kind of challenge to landscape painters
After an introductory session at the Dobozynski Farm studio students will join the instructor and paint on location at some of the most scenic locales in the county including the Dvoor Farm and the Red Mill in Clinton. Instruction in basic and advanced painting and drawing techniques will be offered during group and individual critiques
Students can bring their favorite painting materials while lightweight easels,tables and chairs will be provided
This class is open to students of all levels and all painting mediums
In case of rain classes will meet at the Dobozynski Farm studio

THIS CLASS OPENS FOR REGISTRATION ON SEPTEMBER 25th at 8:00 am
Thursdays 11/6-12/18 (no class 11/27)
9:30 am – Noon
Dobozynski Cottage
Cost: $155
Join professional illustrator and art teacher Lena Shiffman for a fun and relaxed art class. Work from still life set ups by the teacher or use your own photographs. If the weather permits you can set up outside and paint “plein air”. Work with your favorite medium or pick a new one to learn such as charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic or watercolor. If you are new to art, drawing is always a great place to begin. You can work on one painting all semester or start a new one every week – the choice is yours. All abilities welcome!
