No, but registration for all programs is first come, first served. Registration is ongoing and on line registrations may arrive before a mailed form. Programs with limited enrollment may fill before your mailed form arrives. Walk in registration is also accepted but again on line registrations will be accepted as they are completed.

Yes but only once.  Once you register your family you will be able to register any family member without setting up an account again.

All Readington Rec information will be sent via emails.  If you unsubscribe you will not receive emails about any programs.  The subject line will always say what the email is about.  If it does not pertain to you please delete it but don’t unsubscribe.

In classes with limited registration please coordinate with your child’s friends to register for the same session on the same day. Once classes are full the registration for them will close.

For Rec sports you can make a request when you register. We are not always able to honor every request but we will try. Travel sports do not accept carpool requests.

All programs cancelled by Readington Recreation will receive a full refund.  Cancellation for Summer Camps or Sport Leagues must be received by Readington Recreation FOUR weeks in advance of the program start date and shall have a $25 administration fee.   No refunds will be processed for camps or leagues less than four weeks in advance of the program.  All other cancellations must be received TWO weeks prior to the start of the class or program and will be refunded minus a $25 administration fee. No refunds will be processed for cancellations received less than two weeks in advance of the program start date.  No refunds will be processed for programs costing $25 or less.  No refunds for weather cancellations.

If you register on line you will need to pay on line with a credit card or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. If you mail or walk in your registration you can pay with a check or cash (exact change only).

Yes.  All communication about classes, sports, cancellations etc. will be done via email.  You will not be able to complete a registration without an email.  If you want to receive emails at work and at home please provide both addresses.  If two parents both wish to receive emails make sure to provide both email addresses.

Not necessarily.  Sometime we send a reminder email.  Please note the start date and time for any class or program you register for.

Practice times are not determined until registration is complete and teams are formed.  You will be notified by a coach shortly before the start of the season.

You can register for as many sessions as are open on line. You cannot register in advance for the next session of a class if it is not open on line yet.

If Readington schools are closed for weather, then all Rec activities taking place at the schools that day are cancelled. If it rains or snows and closure of facilities is necessary the Rec office will send an email if possible. Otherwise coaches or program directors will relay cancellation information to families. Please use your best judgement. Cancellations may occur based on field conditions regardless of current weather. It is possible that one sport may cancel and another one will not. Conditions differ from field to field.

If you are on the free or reduced lunch program there are scholarships available. In addition there may be scholarship opportunities for temporary hardship situations. Please call the Recreation office at 908-534-9752.

Readington Recreation does not offer Sibling Discounts.  Readington Recreation may offer Early Bird Discounts and Flash Sales on selected programs.  Sign up for Readington Recreation e-mails, Facebook, and Instagram to receive information on special registrations when they are announced.  Readington Recreation has a scholarship program for residents who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program.

Program notifications will be sent to the e-mail address you submitted during the registration process.   If you would like to have additional e-mails receive notifications for a program, please e-mail readingtonrecoffice@gmail.com.  Please not you will need to do this for each program you register for.
